Dear Camilla, Justin and Willow
Apologies for using this email for first introductions, but I trust that it will get to the correct person.
My deepest condolences to Justin, Willow and Camilla and the loss of Vanilla.
I lost my daughter through tragic circumstances too in June 2008, Caitlin was 8 years old.
I know how much I wanted to speak to another person who had lost a child recently. I promised myself that I would make myself available to any mother or father who lost a child.
If you would like to chat, email or sms when you are feeling the weight of these dark days, please feel free.
I can’t bring her back, but perhaps I can assist in the struggle and big sadness ahead and share what helped and didn’t help me.
Lots of Love, Light and energy
Love

I Do Believe
by Jennifer Janiszewski
There is nothing I can do, to make her come back
There are no words I can say, that can replace the words you long to hear
There are no answer’s I can give, that will satisfy your questions
There is not another soul I can introduce you to that will ever replace her
And, there is no love I can offer that will ever replace the love you shared I can not promise your broken heart will ever be complete
I will not say it could have been worse
I will not deny it was a tragedy
I will not lie and tell you she will come back she never really left
I do promise she hears you when you speak
I will say she loves you no matter the distance
I will not deny she is in a better place and,
I will not lie; she is waiting to greet you someday
She is in every step you take
She is in everything you do
She is the air you breathe
She is every beat of your heart”
She is like the wind, you can not see her…but you will always feel her”

Hi
Words totally escape me when trying to express how desperately sad I feel today for you and your family for your loss of your daughter Vanilla. You are all in my thoughts! I too on many occassions left my sleeping angel in the car whilst off loading shopping etc. I can only hope that you can eventually come to terms with your tragic loss. Take care and know that there are lots of people who care and are there for you and your family.
in sadness

Dear Justin, Camilla and your loved ones
(I hope it’s okay that I found this address on the ‘net.)
I am so, so, so very sorry to hear of the terrible accident.
My heart bleeds for you.
Every, every, every parent I know has at one time or another left a child lying on a bed without pillows surrounding him/her, or quickly left the baba sleeping in a car, etc … I believe that every single honest parent can remember at least one situation of just quickly rushing to do something, or thinking it’s okay to dash into the shop because the baby is sleeping, etc.
Please be gentle with yourselves and each other. It is awfully, tragically sad that your little one was taken from you, but no-one is to blame.
I pray for peace and comfort in time. I also pray for physical and emotional healing.
Kind regards
Estelle
